The Reality of Home Remodeling

Let’s be honest—home remodeling has a reputation. We’ve all heard horror stories. We’ve seen dramatic makeover shows where budgets seem endless, and timelines look impossible. But in reality, things rarely go that smoothly. If you’ve experienced a renovation, you know the truth.

At IP Interiors, we understand the frustrations. Homeowners often feel unsure. They worry about trusting contractors. They fear getting stuck with someone who cuts corners or disappears midway through the job. At IP Interiors, we’re here to change that narrative.

Today, we’ll share a behind-the-scenes look at one of our finest projects: the Four-Day Kitchen Remodel.

Building Trust One Project at a Time

This remodel happened when one of our clients planned a four-day trip. Instead of letting that time go to waste, we seized the opportunity. "Why don’t we take care of your kitchen while you’re away?" With detailed planning and our expert team, we made it happen. The project was completed on time, within budget, and with zero stress for the homeowners.

Highlights of the Renovation

Our goal was to create a clean, refreshed, and functional kitchen. Here are key upgrades we made:

  • Quartz countertops featuring a stunning waterfall edge at the range

  • Custom tile backsplash to enhance the overall aesthetic

  • New faucet and garbage disposal installation

  • Interior paint touch-ups to complete the look

While much of the countertop fabrication occurred off-site, the on-site work took just four days from start to finish. Let’s break it down day by day.

Day-by-Day Breakdown of Our Process

Day 1: Launching the Project

We started strong. Our countertop and tile contractors arrived promptly for demo and installation. They completed three countertop placements and a full backsplash installation—all in one day! Meanwhile, our painters began preparations and set up dust containment. This kept everything neat and tidy.

Day 2: Progress and Precision

On the second day, we finished installing the last countertops. Our team moved onto electrical work, ensuring everything was safe and up to code. The painters continued with meticulous touch-ups throughout the kitchen, enhancing the space's beauty.

Day 3: Finalizing the Look

We finalized the painting by the third day. Our team removed all protective materials and conducted a full construction clean-up, making the kitchen feel brand new. It was exciting to see everything come together.

Day 4: The Finishing Touches

On the final day, our licensed plumber installed the new faucet and disposal. By midday, we handled a few last tweaks to ensure perfection. When we walked through the space, everything was exactly as promised.
